He received his dental degree from Emory University and his graduate degree in Orthodontics from the Medical College of Georgia. He has practiced Orthodontics exclusively and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Smaha is also on the Board of Directors of the American Lingual Orthodontic Association. He regularly participates in professional conferences and has lectured, written articles and patented instruments for use with lingual and conventional braces.
He has a master’s degree in oral biology. He attended the Medical College of Georgia, where he received his dental degree, and completed his orthodontic residency at Temple University. Dr. Ched Smaha, researcher and lecturer, specializes in the fields of 3D orthodontic imaging and orthodontic implants. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists. In his spare time, Dr. Smaha enjoys golf, tennis, fishing, movies, radio controlled airplanes, water skiing, snow skiing and working with the Boy Scouts.
